My name is Estelle Sandford for many years I bred rats at a rattery based in Somerset, known as The Rats of Alpha Centauri. Alpha Centauri is my NFRS registered stud-name.

This website is devoted to information about rats and their care. The articles are written by me unless otherwise indicated, and no content not been updated since 2010 so many quite dated particularly named brands or products. The site is now held as a static archive with thanks to the National Fancy Rat Society.
